Who Are We?
AccurIX is the newest Internet exchange in Ottawa, Canada. The exchange was started as a peering LAN between 4 Accuris Hosting customers but quickly grew in member count.
Anyone can join if they are on-net in the PureColo Datacentre in Ottawa. Colo service, dedicated servers, and hybrid-solutions from Accuris Technologies may also connect. All connections are free of charge but cross-connect fees will not be covered.
We are officially registered with the Canadian government as a non-profit organization under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, under the name Accuris Internet Exchange Association with corporation number 1595450-9. You can find our registration details on the Corporations Canada website.
